Pretty impressed with this bulb style nose aspirator and it’s suction power. It fits comfortably in your hand since it’s about 3.5 inches long and is easy to squeeze and draw in fluids. The clear angled tip seems to be a silicone rubber base and has no sharp edges to hurt baby and is easily removable to sterilize. The bulb can then be washed in hot soapy water as well to get rid of any nastiness. It’s designed well to maximize the suction power and still keep the bulb soft unlike the large stiff ones they give you in the hospital. Upon testing, I liked that the tip was also tapered so it easily fits newborns to toddlers. Having a flat bottom so you can stand it up on the counter and avoid anything from the counter touching the tip and vice versa is a nice plus, too. The materials are all BPA free which is a big issue with my daughter who is carrying our first grandchild for whom this was purchased for. Simple to use, very effective, compact enough to toss in the diaper bag and easy to clean and sterilize. Good overall aspirator.
