I purchased this for the hubby's birthday since I had ordered one before and he raved about it. This one is longer so he can use it for different types of fishing and the quality is every bit as good as my first purchase. The rod easily telescopes out and collapses with no problems. The carbon rod is super lightweight and the ceramic loops let the line glide freely. I personally love that it folds up easily and has a great case taking up very little space in our boat.
