As a huge fan of lights, these DailyArt LED globe lights rank about medium for me. The globes are translucent plastic so they won’t break and are not as heavy as glass bulbs. There are 40 lights on a 13 foot strand so coverage is really good for an outdoor hedge. They run off 3 AA batteries that stay safe inside a waterproof housing. You can set the lights to stay on steady, flash or off. Now, having a lot of lights around my house and yard, I compared these to them and the quality is good but not great and for a basic lighting job, I think these are fine. I prefer solar lights, but have some battery ones and like those, this is good for indoor lighting. They are not overpowering like some indoor lights and do a great job of just providing muted lighting. Overall, good lights and good price.
