This apple slicer/corer and peeler combo rocks. The non-slip handles are comfortable and have a nice silicone grip. The blades are sharp on the slicer and makes cutting through an apple a breeze. Simply place the slicer over the fruit, press down and you end up with 8 apple slices to eat and a core to toss in the trash. Makes having my apples and peanut butter a breeze. The blades are stainless steel on both the slicer and peeler and are dishwasher safe. The peeler handle is larger than most but I love the silicone grip because it feels I have control of it better in my hand. I used it on some zucchini this weekend and it peeled the skin like butter. Both items are FDA approved and BPA free so made well with good materials. Very happy with this set and you can’t beat the price for the quality.
