I'm a huge fan of solar lights and this vintage hexagon lantern style looks super cute in my front yard. The light can either be mounted on a wall (comes with a mounting bracket and hardware) or staked into the ground with a 21 inch stake. Either way, the light has a nice style. To charge the light was very simple, remove the clear plastic layer over the 4 solar panels then make sure you put it in an area that will get sunlight. I charged mine all day and turned it to the ON switch just before dusk and it stayed light until after I went to bed 5 hours later. The light is not super bright but I don't want it to be. It's not a spotlight or a motion light. It's more ambiance lighting and casts out a fair amount of lighting. Very pretty in the front yard, too. I really like how it looks and how I can use it ANYWHERE.
