Zmodo Smart PoE 720P HD Security Camera System 4 x 720P Outdoor Night Vision Surveillance Camera No Hard Drive (Electronics)

I have a Zmodo camera in my house we use for keeping an eye on the dogs and the interior of the house when away and was thrilled to see this outdoor security system available. The quality of Zmodo products is excellent. I was pleased with the ease of setting up and viewing my first camera and while this set is a bit more complex, the directions are simple to follow and installation of the wires and cameras is something any homeowner can do. The cameras are in metal housings that have a 720p HD resolution and the picture is amazing day or night (up to about 60 feet). The set comes with two 50 foot cables and two 98 foot cables so enough of a run to place your cameras where you need to. It also came with the cables to attach to the router. Connecting the cameras to the NVR and the router is pretty simple if you are techy and if not, go online to the Zmodo website because they have helpful step by step instructions. The cameras can be installed inside or outside and are weatherproof so no worries if outside. If you do install outside, make sure you weatherproof the connectors.

The highlight of these cameras is their ability to detect and start recording with movement and send an alert to your phone, pc, tablet, iPad or whatever devices you have the app installed on. You can also go back into the app and watch playback of video at any time or just watch live feeds. All of this is housed in the cloud! We have 3 of the 4 installed (ran out of daylight) but will update with more pictures once complete. Such a huge piece of mind knowing my house can be monitored inside and out with one click on a phone with a secure password you can give to other trusted family members for monitoring. Excellent, well made product that is easy to use.
