These globe ball lights are a super fun accent on my patio. The 25 foot strand is green so blends in nicely on plants or in a yard and can be used indoor or outdoor. The globes are clear and a size of G40 so easy to find replacement bulbs if you need them. I found them simple to insert into the sockets (the come individually and carefully wrapped) and then plugged them in for a light show. 25 globes light up a good area but with a soft glow! The strand has end to end connections so you can purchase more and easily connect to fit your particular needs. When plugged in, I did feel heat coming from the bulbs so they do get warm but not hot. I am tossing my strand on a timer so they come on under our structure for the evenings and to provide a welcoming atmosphere. Very high quality strand and the glass bulbs are durable. The only thing I would change is the actual clip on the socket that typically you attach to a tree or plant branch is on the smaller side and a bit weak. I am not using them for attaching to my shade structure but thought it should be mentioned. Happy overall with this purchase, though.
