I purchased these cups after hearing all the sensationalism of the benefits after the Olympics for my husband and his perpetual bad back. When they arrived, they were not what I expected and came with no instructions on how to apply so to the webz I went. After intense research, I applied a greek oil containing lavendar, coconut and other natural oils to his back, and grabbed the 3" cup and placed it according to what the internet showed was good for his particularly painful areas. I placed the cup and then pressed down to release as much air as I could them them go so they could attach to his skin. I then followed suit with 2 cups of 2.4" inches and 2 cups of 1.9" in other areas for relief. My reference said you can leave them on up to 15 minutes at a time but after reading how they could blister, I chose about 8 minutes for the first day out. I loved them around 3 different places for 8 minutes each. The next day, my husband said he has not felt that well in YEARS. He had absolutely no back or shoulder pain and he had been swinging a sledgehammer for 3 hours the night before. It was recommended to only do an area once every few days so he has to wait for the next round but the results are amazing to us. After several surgeries, I never thought I would ever hear him say he felt pain free. I will update if things change but so far, I am very happy with my purchase.
