I wasn't sure how I was going to like these sponges but once I have tried them, I am hooked. These Konjac root face sponges are unique and one is a natural bamboo charcoal and the other tumeric. They arrived shrink wrapped and hard as rocks. You have to soak them in water and they soften quickly, then you can either add cleanser or use without to clean your face. I have been using them for 4 mornings now and start with the charcoal to remove impurities and exfoliate my skin then follow with the turmeric to give my face a soft glow and decrease any inflammation. The end result is my face freshly and softly scrubbed and free from dead skin, oils and dirt. I have sensitive skin so was worried they might scratch or leave redness but I had no adverse affects. The sponges have no additives and are 100% natural and biodegradable. They come with handy strings attached so you can hang them to dry as well. Since they are natural, I would only use them for about a month then toss it in the compost bin. Really a very nice pack of facial sponges and even my esthetician gave them a thumbs up for use.
