Ivation Electronic Home and Office Safe with Keypad for Pin Code Access - Includes Emergency Override Keys, Black

My husband has large Liberty safes and I have been asking for a smaller one for myself that can hold important papers for our family plus a small handgun without having to access the bigger safes. This Ivation safe fits my needs perfectly with it's great size (14 x 10 x 10), weight at 25 pounds so manageable for me and keypad and/or key access. The safe comes with mounting equipment but fits great on a closet shelf. The keypad is easy to set (follow the enclosed, easy to read directions) and comes the two AA batteries necessary to power the keypad. Should the batteries die, you will need to reset your keypad but you also will have 2 keys to access as well. There is a reset button inside the safe so you can change the code at anytime. Inside the safe is a nice lined single shelved space that fit my items easy. It seems much roomier when opened, too. The safe is not fire or waterproof, but will safely contain items inside your home and should a fire occur, you may be able to just grab the safe and take it with you since the weight it not too heavy. I really like having something just for me that I can run and grab quick items like a birth certificate or SS card when needed. The safe is made very well, is easy to use, and is the perfect size to hide on a closet shelf.
