Purchased this for my son-in-law and he is over the moon about it. The speed clip is easy to use and the belt fits him comfortably. He is 5'10 and about 170lbs. The chain is 30 inches of steel chain and the belt is made of polypropylene. He did say he is adding some stronger carbiners to hold 4-5 plates because when he tried it at first, it felt like the clip was going to bend so better to strengthen it now.
Very happy with the belt and its quality is great. I went with 4 stars just because he had to add a stronger clip for heavier plates. Very solid belt, though.
